Specializing in the repair, restoration, and tuning of vintage Anglo, English, and Duet concertinas as well as diatonic button and chromatic accordions.

Repairs
We repair and tune Anglo, English, and Duet concertinas and diatonic and chromatic button accordions. We can handle everything from a sticky button or broken reed to a complete overhaul of your instrument. We can make a new, all-leather bellows for a standard, 6 1/4” hexagonal concertina.
We can only give ball-park estimates over the phone. For an accurate estimate and evaluation of an instrument's condition, we really need to have it in hand.
The standard fee for an evaluation/estimate is $25; however, this fee is waived if we end up proceeding with the repair.
R. Morse and Co. Warranty Repairs
After The Button Box closed, arrangements were made for The Squeezebox Garage to handle any warranty issues that might come up in regard to R. Morse & Co. instruments. If you have a Morse that is less than 5 years old that needs work you think might fall under warranty, please contact us.

Spare Parts
We make concertina pads and valves of different sizes to order. Click here for a size chart.
We can also make hand, thumb, wrist, or neck straps to fit your instrument.
We have a large supply of accordion bellows, bass and shoulder straps. Please inquire about sizes. We also have many sizes and shapes of buttons and a large selection of both concertina and accordion reeds. That being said, we cannot supply entire reed sets for your instrument.
We have a limited supply of other spares—please inquire.
We CANNOT supply the long pinky-rest and thumb-strap screws for English concertinas.
What We Won't Do
There are many instruments in the "free-reed" family. Our focus is on concertinas and smaller diatonic and chromatic accordions. We DO NOT typically repair:
• full size piano or chromatic accordions with tone chambers or MIDI systems
• bandoneons
• Chemnitzer concertinas
• harmoniums
• reed organs
• harmonicas
